So its quickly heading up on that time of year again.. New Years!!
Its alway a struggle to decide what to do where to go (interstate) if anywhere.. Well our friends at Falls Festival always give you that great option of heading away to a choice of 2 secluded location, to rock out with some of the finest artist going round and bring in the new year in a whole different way..

Glastonbury.... So far.

So yesterday was an experience... mud, rain, amazing bands, over 125 thousand people and only at Glastonbury.
Highlights included; an always exception performance by Two Door Cinema Club, Grouplove sharing the love and a surprise performance by Radiohead which was out of this world.
I don't think i've ever had this much mud on my body ever and i almost lost a lens to the rain. Today is set to be just as great with Coldplay headlining and other major acts including The Gaslight Anthem, Jimmy Eat World, Friendly Fires, Chemical Brothers and a 2nd Surprise gust; Pulp. It should be a good one.
I Will post a collection of all my photos next week once i'm cleaned up but for now here is a few.. Hope you enjoy!

The Rapture is STILL coming...

So The Rapture was meant to occur last weekend, and in a way it did... well at least the one Rapture that we care about - THE RAPTURE, the band responsible for many a dancing feet, and jiving arms, just announced they will be returning with their first studio album since 2006 ('Pieces of the People We Love'). Talk about a long wait for us fans!
The guys will be releasing said album ('The Grace of Your Love') via DFA on September 6th, and for us here in Australia, Modular will be in charge.
Huzzah!

Though I only ventured in for three out of the six days, I'm feeling a mighty doleful BLUESFEST is over. [sad face].
SUCH a great festival, I just can't sing its praises enough (although my wrap-up will have some minor jibes and a few unpopular sentiments regarding a certain B.D. who shall not be named further).
I met Ben Harper backstage but failed to get a photo, danced the good dance with some pretty decent folk at Bob Dylan, fell in love with Dhani Harrison, learned that Tim Robbins is more then the sum of his movie parts, and got an eyeful of Grace Jones' 62 year old naked butt cheeks while she gyrated on a pole and over air vents- (a sight to be relished, not feared).
